Question on Amtrak Guest Rewards Answered
At ESPA's annual meeting on the 13th a member asked the Amtrak representatives about when their points and status levels in the Guest Rewards program would lapse. Here's the response: Your Tier status in Guest Rewards is preserved through February, 2022. Your points remain active through the end of June, 2021, BUT, you must have had redemptions or earnings in the prior 24 months or the points will expire in July, 2021. If you attended the ESPA Annual Meeting in Schenectady in March, 2020, or have made other Amtrak trips in the last 24 months, then you should be good. If not, think about planning a celebration of your Covid vaccination with an Amtrak trip in early summer.
